When it comes to easy, crowd-pleasing appetizers, few things beat a creamy spinach dip – especially one you can whip up with just four simple ingredients!
It's the easiest, most irresistible spinach dip you’ll ever make! With just a handful of ingredients, this recipe proves that when it comes to flavor, less truly is more.
1 cup cooked and drained spinach (fresh or frozen) 1 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version) 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 ounce)
If using frozen spinach, thaw it completely and squeeze out as much water as possible. If using fresh spinach, quickly sauté it in a pan until wilted, then chop and drain well.
In a medium bowl, combine the spinach, sour cream, Parmesan cheese and ranch seasoning mix. Stir until everything is well blended.
Cover and refrigerate the dip for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
Serve chilled with crackers, tortilla chips, fresh veggies or sliced baguette.
Want it hot and melty? Bake it at 375°F (190°C) for 1520 minutes until bubbly and golden! Add extra shredded mozzarella for a cheesy twist if you don't mind sneaking in a fifth ingredient.
For a bit of extra flavor, you can experiment with ingredients like minced garlic, lemon juice, a splash of hot sauce or fresh herbs like dill, parsley and basil.
For some added texture, you can add in some more veggies. Consider some classic add-ins like artichoke hearts, green onions, bell peppers or jalapeños.
