With just three basic ingredients, you can create a delicious marinade that will make your steak juicy and flavorful.
Soy sauce adds a rich, savory flavor to the marinade. Measure 1/4 cup and pour it into a mixing bowl.
Olive oil helps to tenderize the meat and adds a smooth texture. Measure 1/4 cup and add it to the soy sauce in the mixing bowl.
Measure 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar and add it to the 3-ingredient steak marinade mixture.
Whisk the soy sauce, olive oil and balsamic vinegar together until they are well combined.
Place the steak in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. This will allow the marinade to cover the steak completely.
Pour the prepared mixture over the steak, ensuring it coats all sides. Use a spoon or spatula to help spread the marinade if needed.
Seal the plastic bag, then place the steak in the refrigerator. Allow it to sit for at least 30 minutes; for the best results, try 2-4 hours.
While the steak is marinating, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Take the steak out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
Place the meat on the preheated grill and cook to your desired level of doneness. 4-5 minutes per side will usually reach medium-rare.
Once the steak is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes before serving and enjoying!
Pair your perfectly marinated steak with your favorite sides for an unforgettable meal.
