Craving a quick, delicious treat that won’t weigh you down with complicated ingredients or long prep times? These 4-ingredient banana muffins are your new best friend.

With just a handful of pantry staples and ripe bananas, you can whip up moist, naturally sweet muffins perfect for breakfast, snack time or whenever you need a little homemade comfort.

Whether you’re a baking pro or a total beginner, this recipe keeps things simple without sacrificing flavor, because sometimes, less really is more.

- 3 ripe bananas (mashed) - 1 cup all-purpose flour - 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste) - 1 teaspoon baking powder

Ingredients

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease it lightly. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.

Add the sugar and baking powder to the mashed bananas and mix well. Gently fold in the flour until just combined, don’t overmix!

Spoon the batter evenly into the muffin cups.Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let cool for a few minutes before enjoying your easy, tasty banana muffins!

Use very ripe bananas – the riper, the sweeter and more flavorful your muffins will be. Store muffins in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days, or freeze for longer.

Tips

Try adding chocolate chips for some melty sweetness or chopped nuts for added crunch. Adding warm spices like nutmeg or cinnamon gives a cozy flavor.
