Black celebrities and business owners have joined the liquor game as owners and developers, sparking growth within the industry. 

Whether whiskey or bourbon, vodka or gin, you name a spirit, and there's a Black brand perfecting its formula. Read on to uncover several of many that you can try. 

Co-founded and co-owned by former wrestler and current actor, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Teremana was considered the fastest growing tequila of all time in 2023.

Tiffany Capri Hainesworth is the founder, owner and CEO of the first Black woman-owned tequila brand. TCapri was established in 2021, making history.

Formerly owned by Sean "Diddy" Combs, DeLéon is now property of the Diageo brand (who also own Ciroc). The company continues to pour into Black legacy via their partnerships.

Uncle Nearest Whiskey is owned by Fawn Weaver. It was launched in 2017 to honor the first Black distiller, Nathan Green, who taught Jack Daniels how to make whisky.

Black Momma Vodka is owned by Vanessa Braxton, the first Black woman master distiller as awarded by the state of New York. As a bonus, this delicious spirit is gluten-free.
