Start by brewing a cup of espresso or strong coffee. The coffee is the foundation of your latte, so make it bold and aromatic.
Heat the milk gently on the stovetop or microwave until it’s warm but not boiling. If you prefer a frothy texture, whisk the milk or use a frother.
In your coffee mug, pour the chocolate syrup. Adjust the amount to your liking if you prefer a stronger or milder chocolate taste.
Add peppermint syrup to the mug. You can use store-bought syrup or homemade peppermint syrup.
Pour the brewed espresso or coffee into the mug with the chocolate and peppermint syrups. Stir the mixture well.
Slowly pour the steamed milk into the coffee-syrup mixture. For extra froth, spoon the foam on top after pouring the milk.
Top your Peppermint Mocha Latte with a generous swirl of whipped cream. Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies or chocolate shavings over the whipped cream.
For a vegan or dairy-free latte, substitute milk with almond, oat or soy milk. You can also choose a dairy-free whipped cream. The result will be just as delicious!
