New Year, New Look: Winter Decor After the Holidays

It may be time to pack away our festive Christmas decor, but winter decor keeps the season’s spirit alive with soft textures, neutral tones and cozy elements. Here are a few things you can add to your home to achieve this.

Although wreaths are commonly associated with Christmas, they are not strictly a holiday tradition. In fact, some people use them year-round to signify changes in season.

Winter color palettes are often very neutral. Florals are a great way to add some visual interest to your decor.  Anything from light pink to deep blue can look great.

Christmas may have come and gone, but the snow is here to stay. Snowflakes are great if you're looking to DIY some decor.

Pine cones are excellent if you're looking to create a fresh, cozy setting at home, whether it's part of a centrepiece or even just a scented candle.

Snowman-related decor is a cute way to show your winter spirit both inside and outside your home.

Whether they're big or small, snow globes are a timeless winter decoration.

If you're looking to dress up your fireplace or stairway for the winter season, garlands are a nice way to achieve your goal.

Decorative throw pillows can help create a wintery vibe in a space, either through a cute design or a seasonal color scheme.

You may think that having a tree in your home is distinctly a Christmas tradition, but it doesn't have to be. Snow-coated faux fur trees are great at contributing to a neutral winter palette.
