We Tried the Most Aesthetic Walking Pad on the Internet

If you’re still working from home without a walking pad, allow us to put you onto your next must-have office addition. After nearly a month of walking, reading, typing and scrolling with our latest obsession, we can confidently say that the walking pad lovers of TikTok were so, so right.

That being said, finding a walking pad that won’t interfere with the aesthetics of your space and isn’t an eyesore is like finding a needle in a haystack. Plus, you know we’re committed to bringing you chic and stylish products above all else, and being tasked with finding a walking pad with the H&T stamp of approval wasn’t something we took lightly.

With that in mind, in the race for the internet’s most aesthetic walking pad, one reigned supreme above all others: the Ergonofis Foldable Walking Treadmill.

If you’ve been looking to incorporate more movement into your day and finally have a product that eases some of the monotony of sitting at your desk for hours on end, consider this your sign to finally take the walking pad plunge. We’ve already done the heavy lifting for you—all you have to do is add to cart and wait for your delivery.

First Impressions

Straight out the box, our first thought was how sleek and shiny it is. The design truly is unmatched—with its curved edges and streamlined display, it really softens much of the harshness of a typical treadmill. We opted for the white color, which fits right in with our existing office decor, but there’s also a black version if that better aligns with your aesthetic.

Our second thought was that it was heavier than expected—55 pounds doesn’t seem like a lot until you’re carrying it up a flight of stairs all by yourself. While the sheer weight of it did take a bit of effort to get upstairs and positioned under a desk, it was able to be done without the help of a second person if that’s at all cause for concern. Its foldability does help in this regard, in addition to the wheels positioned on the bottom.

It’s these two things alone that also make it perfect for those wanting a walking pad that’s easy to be placed out of sight and out of mind on occasion. The convenience of folding it in half and sliding it under a chair when you want to put your office back together is a must in any functional walking pad and is what really sets this pad apart from the rest.

What Else You Should Know

After testing it for several weeks, we were even more convinced that every work-from-home woman (or man) should invest in a walking pad. We used it for everything from sending emails and meeting our daily step count to reading books and watching Netflix. With speeds of up to three miles per hour, you’ll definitely learn that certain speeds work better with certain activities.

For focused work, we like to stay around 1.5 miles per hour. If you’re looking to get your sweat on and engage in more of a brisk walk, by all means, crank it all the way up. And if you’re concerned about being able to walk and read or type at the same time, don’t be. It’s relatively easy to get used to the pace and coordination, but you can always start slow and work your way up as you get used to it.

Other notable features we love include a remote control (so you can increase or decrease the speed while you’re walking) and connectivity with an app that tracks your steps and offers a place to see all your stats at once. The front display is also great for viewing your speed, steps, time elapsed and calories burned just like a regular treadmill.

It’s time to upgrade your work-from-home game.

If you see yourself working from home long term, a walking pad really is a no-brainer. At $499, this walking pad is on the pricier side, but it’s also an investment in the ability to get moving during an otherwise stagnant workday. We love it for its modern design and seamless integration into our daily routine, and we highly recommend Ergonofis for a walking pad that truly checks all the boxes.
