This year, we’re proud to introduce something new: The Design Vanguard, our first-ever editorial award honoring the people and brands shaping the future of home.

We created the Design Vanguard to spotlight the visionaries, the doers, and the creators who are reimagining what modern living looks like—on their own terms. These aren’t just trendsetters. They’re world-builders. Artists. Storytellers. Tastemakers. Each one is using their work to spark new conversations around beauty, function, and belonging.

To honor the breadth of creativity in this space, we’ve broken the Vanguard into four core categories:

In the age of content, these creators stand out for more than just their aesthetics. They use their platforms to share everyday beauty—from styling a coffee table to documenting the light that floods their favorite corner. They remind us that home is personal, and that how we live matters just as much as where we live.

4. The Makers

Decor Brands and Creatives We Can’t Stop Bookmarking

This category celebrates the designers, artisans, and small-batch brands whose products make us feel something. Whether it’s a hand-thrown ceramic bowl or a perfectly curved velvet chair, these makers understand that design lives in the details.

Each honoree in the Design Vanguard was selected through a collaborative editorial process—based not just on their aesthetics, but on their point of view. Their work is layered, relevant, and impossible to ignore. And as a group, they reflect what we’ve always known to be true: that great design isn’t about chasing trends. It’s about telling the truth of who you are.
