Starbucks' new Cherry Chai Latte is the perfect balance of sweet, tart cherry and warm, spiced chai, all wrapped up in a cozy, creamy drink. But what if you could skip the coffee shop lines and make this delicious seasonal favorite at home?

Good news: you can! With just a few simple ingredients, you can recreate this Starbucks-inspired Cherry Chai Latte in your own kitchen – at a fraction of the cost.

1/2 cup chai concentrate (store-bought like Tazo, or homemade) 1/2 cup milk (dairy or an alternative of your choice like oat, almond or soy)

Chai Latte Ingredients

1/4 cup heavy cream 2 tbsp milk (preferably 2% or whole for creaminess) 1 tbsp cherry syrup (store-bought or homemade) 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1 tsp powdered sugar (optional)

Cherry Cold Foam Ingredients

In a small cup or frothing pitcher, mix heavy cream, milk, cherry syrup, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar (if using).

Use a milk frother, handheld frother or blender to whip the mixture until thick and foamy (about 30-60 seconds). It should be smooth and creamy but still pourable.

To make the latte, you're going to want to heat the chai. If using store-bought concentrate, warm it in a saucepan or microwave. next you can steam the milk until warm (but not boiling) and froth it using a frother or whisk.

Pour your homemade cherry cold foam over the beverage, whether iced for a refreshing treat or hot for a cozy indulgence. After your hard work, you can enjoy a perfectly crafted, Starbucks-inspired delight.

If you're missing the cherry syrup, it's super simple to make at home. All you need is cherry juice, sugar and lemon juice.

Using equal parts cherry juice, lemon juice and half as much sugar. Combine your ingredients in a medium saucepan.

Simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened. Let cool before using in cold foam.
