Whether you’re looking to boost your energy, stay on track with your health goals or simply enjoy a lighter snack, a good healthy appetizer can be both satisfying and delicious.
If you're in need of ideas, here are a few quick and easy recipes you can try out.
280g of frozen spinach 1/2 Tsp salt and pepper 1/2 cup chopped parsley and onion 2 cups plain greek yogurt
Thaw and drain the frozen spinach prior to measuring. Then combine all ingredients until well mixed.
You can use this dip with anything from tortilla chips to vegetables. It pairs great with snap peas, cucumbers and celery. For a bit of extra flavor, you can add garlic powder, cumin, crushed red pepper or top off with some fresh herbs.
Cherry tomatoes Mini mozza balls Balsamic vinegar Salt and pepper Measurements will depend on how many skewers you wish to make
Start by stacking the cherry tomatoes and mozza balls on the skewers.
Once you have your skewers filled up, plate them and drizzle the balsamic vinegar on top. Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper and they're ready to eat.
If you want to get a bit more creative with it, try adding grilled chicken or avocado to the skewer.
1 zucchini 1 egg 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese 1/4 Tsp of garlic powder Sprinkle of pepper
Start by preheating your oven to 420F and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut your zucchini lengthwise 4 times.
On a small sheet, combine cheese and spices. Crack and mix the egg in a seperate bowl. Dip each zucchini slice first into the egg and then into the cheese mixture.
Lay each zucchini slice on the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes. These can also be cooked in the air fryer for a crispier finished product.
