Here is a cocktail that will serve as both a beautiful drink to set the vibe for a summer party and get you feeling a buzz in a heartbeat. A Blue Motorcycle drink, also known as Adios or AMF (Adios Motherf****r), is a vibrant and potent cocktail similar to a Long Island Iced Tea. It includes a mix of several different liquors and is known for its bright blue color, which comes from blue curaçao. This drink is a popular choice at bars and parties due to its striking appearance and the fact that it does not take much of it to feel the effects of its strong flavors.

Though the blue motorcycle drink calls for seemingly about every liquor on the shelf, the mix of sweet and sour mix and lemon lime soda makes it taste deceivingly less strong than it is. Give the blue motorcycle drink a try this summer with this recipe.

Remember to drink blue motorcycles responsibly, as they contain high alcohol content.

Blue Motorcycle Drink Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 oz vodka
  • 1/2 oz rum
  • 1/2 oz gin
  • 1/2 oz tequila
  • 1/2 oz blue curaçao
  • 1 oz sweet and sour mix
  • 2 oz Lemon-lime soda (like Sprite or 7-Up)
  • Lemon wedge and/or cherry for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes.
  2. Pour the vodka, rum, gin, tequila and blue curaçao into the shaker.
  3. Pour in the sweet and sour mix.
  4. Shake the mixture vigorously until well chilled.
  5. Fill a highball or hurricane glass with ice.
  6. Strain the contents of the shaker into the glass over the ice.
  7. Top off the drink with lemon-lime soda.
  8. Garnish with a lemon wedge and/or a cherry.

Tips:

  • Sweet and Sour Mix: You can make your own sweet and sour mix by combining equal parts of fresh lemon juice, fresh lime juice, simple syrup and water.
  • Adjusting Strength: For a slightly less potent version, you can add more lemon-lime soda.
  • Serving: Serve with a straw to help mix the flavors as you drink.
