Where To Find Free Meals on Veterans Day 2024

As USA Today notes, most Veterans Day offers require proof of service, such as a military ID card, at the time of purchase. Many deals are restricted to dine-in, though you’ll want to check with your closest location to confirm their participation in any advertised promotions.

Applebee’s

In honor of Veterans Day, Applebee’s has curated an exclusive menu with free options for our troops – choose from a six ounce Top Sirloin, Classic Bacon Cheeseburger and Double Crunch Shrimp! If this is your restaurant of choice, you’ll leave with a satisfied stomach and a $5 bounce back card to redeem within three weeks.

Starbucks

No matter where you choose to eat, Starbucks will make sure veterans are caffeinated for free today. Participating locations are offering a free tall (12 oz) brewed coffee, hot or iced, although cold brew isn’t included. Elsewhere, the beloved chain is donating $200K to the Elizabeth Dole Foundation and Wounded Warrior Project, which address the needs of veterans’ families.

Buffalo Wild Wings

Buffalo Wild Wings shows love to veterans year-round with a 15% discount on dine-in and call-in services, but on Nov. 11, they’re being even more generous. Grab 10 boneless wings with fries from your nearest location, so long as you have valid military ID.

Chili’s

Another classic American favorite is Chili’s, where an impressive roster of menu items are being served to vets for free. Among them are the Oldtimer with Cheese and Fries, Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadilla, Chicken Crispers and Chili or Soup with a Side Salad, but do note that beverages and gratuity are not included.
