Classic French 75

The French 75 has the same timeless appeal as a martini, thanks to similar ingredients. The lemon and gin create a tart, botanical flavor profile that is delightfully fancy with the addition of bubbles and fizz.

  • 2 ounces of gin
  • 1/2 ounce of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of simple syrup
  • Champagne

Instructions

  1. Add gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until well mixed.
  2. Strain contents into a flute or coupe glass.
  3. Top with Champagne and enjoy.

Negroni Sbagliato

While this recipe is traditionally made with Prosecco you can certainly swap in Champagne to elevate it. To complement the bitter notes of the amaro, look for a younger Champagne that has fresh fruity aromas as opposed to toastier notes.

Ingredients

  • 4 0unces of Champagne
  • 1 ounce of sweet vermouth
  • 1/2 ounce of Campari

Instructions

  1. Add Champagne to a large glass filled with ice.
  2. Add the vermouth and Campari.
  3. Mix lightly and enjoy..

Kir Royale

This traditional French cocktail has a beautiful violet color thanks to blackberry liqueur. It’s festive and can be served for any occasion, from brunch to cocktail hour, and even as an after-dinner drink. Though it can be served in a coupe, a flute will give the best effect and show off its color

Ingredients

  • 1/2 ounce crème de cassis
  • Champagne
  • Fresh raspberries or blackberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add crème de cassis to a Champagne flute and top with Champagne.
  2. Finish with berries to garnish and enjoy.
