Maybe it’s the forever child in me, but there’s an undeniable excitement that comes with decorating for Halloween. This year, I’ve decided to really go all out, as I have a bit more space to work with, and elevate my usual plastic pumpkins and dollar store cobwebs to create a more chic haunted aesthetic. Little did I know that my timing couldn’t have been more perfect, thanks to Pottery Barn.
Takeaways
New
During my normal weekend browsing, I stumbled upon what can only be described as a Halloween decorator’s dream: Pottery Barn’s seasonal sale offering up to 50% off their entire Halloween collection. Known for their high-quality home goods and tasteful designs, Pottery Barn has managed to create Halloween pieces that are both whimsical and refined. Suddenly, my vision of an elevated Halloween home was within reach.
What truly impressed me about Pottery Barn’s Halloween collection was the versatility and thoughtfulness behind each piece. Unlike typical seasonal decor that feels played out after October 31st, many of these items could easily transition into general fall decor or even go with your year-round aesthetics.
Halloween is literally around the corner at this point, so we’re going to keep this brief and give you our expert POV on what we’re loving (and shopping) from Pottery Barn’s Halloween sale.
As always, if you find yourself purchasing anything from our list, be sure to tag Home & Texture on socials for a chance to be featured.
Shop Our Top Picks
Handmade Terracotta Jack O’ Lantern
First of all, true orange is very played out at this point. Why have a traditional orange jack o'lantern, when you can have a terracotta one? If you're eclectic in your tastes, this piece can extend way past October 31 and sit well with your living room, dining or kitchen area decor, possibly becoming one of your most-asked about pieces.
Lit Mrs. Bones
Your knee bone is connected to your what!? Pottery Barn hit it out the park for this update on the spooky skeleton. Not only is it gender inclusive, (who said skeleton's always had to be he, him, his) but, it's a fun piece to sit on your stoop/entryway or to prop up as a greeter for your Halloween party. A true win.
Stackable Black Glitter Pumpkins
If there's glitter involved, I'm all in. These stackable glitter pumpkins in black are truly the bee's knees. I'm all for functional pieces that can work in any corner/space of the home and these pumpkins do just that. Instead of worrying about how awkward they'd look sitting out on your porch on November 1, move these into your entryway or living room area as the perfect fall/winter accent piece to last the rest of the season.
Dried Autumnal Dusk Wreath
Whoever said that Halloween needed to be spooky? This stunning wreath debunks this theory. It's wrapped in beautiful, seasonal colors that when placed on your door or place of choice in your home, will give those vibes of a chic fall escape, instead of a scary witches lair.
Don’t Look Behind You Hologram Wall Mirror
At Home & Texture, we love art. We also know that art comes in many forms and this hologram wall mirror proves that. Is it a mirror or is it a secret message? We don't really know, but what we do know is that this is a fun piece to play around with as a standalone or within your gallery wall.
Lit Hanging Witches Hat
This witches hat is the perfect ode to Halloween. The battery-operated piece would work beautifully strung up over your grazing table or as a piece in the dining space to give your family and hosting nights a visual surprise and delight.
