This line is Walmart’s largest private brand food launch in over two decades. Bettergoods is designed to bring chef-inspired, quality foods to shoppers at unbeatable prices. And with inflation, finding quality foods that won’t break the bank is a game changer.

“Bettergoods is more than just a new private brand. It’s a commitment to our customers that they can enjoy unique culinary flavors at the incredible value Walmart delivers,” said Scott Morris, Walmart’s Senior Vice President of Brands, Food, and Consumables, in a press release.

“Today’s customers expect more from the private brands they purchase—they want affordable, quality products to elevate their overall food experience. The launch of bettergoods delivers on that customer need in a meaningful way,” Morris shares.

Unlike typical store brands that mimic national brands at lower prices, bettergoods introduces entire unique items, broadening shoppers’ palates with new tastes and concepts. From frozen goods to snacks, coffee, and beverages, the range of products is extensive, with most items priced under $5. Highlighted in the lineup are Hot Honey Seasoning, Creamy Corn Jalapeño Chowder, and Bronze Cut Pasta from Italy—each offering an elevated taste at low prices.

The bettergoods brand also features a special focus on dietary preferences with its “Made Without” pillar, catering to those looking for gluten-free options or products free from artificial flavors and added sugars. Plant-based items under the bettergoods label, like the Oatmilk Non-Dairy Frozen Desserts and plant-based cheese alternatives, offer rich flavors that you won’t believe aren’t made from traditional dairy.
