How It Came Together

The journey to creating her dream beauty room began in December 2024, even before Alexis closed on her new home. As a soon-to-be homeowner, she knew that designing this dedicated space would be a top priority — something she had always envisioned for herself.

Working with professional contractors, Alexis began the design process virtually. Using an iPad, they mapped out the layout, which incorporated thoughtful elements like a built-in mirror alcove in the wardrobe space and extensive storage solutions. The design phase then progressed to selecting finishes and hardware to bring her vision to life.

Drawing inspiration from her curated Instagram saves, Alexis chose a sophisticated color palette that paired soft pink with neutral tones for the wardrobe room. While the project faced initial delays due to material and hardware delivery times, the transformation from demolition to installation was completed in approximately two weeks.

The finishing touches proved to be the perfect complement to the overall design, particularly the gold handles adorning the island and wardrobe pieces, which elegantly enhanced the neutral color scheme. “I wanted to create a space that was feminine yet sophisticated, and I believe we achieved exactly that,” Alexis reflects, gesturing to the space’s final look with its chic décor elements that perfectly balance style with functionality.
