Slow-Cooker Chicken Drumsticks
Ingredients
- 8-10 chicken drumsticks
- 2-3 tablespoons McCormick Season All seasoning
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
1. Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels.
2. Rub the drumsticks generously with your favorite seasonings.
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and brown the drumsticks on all sides (about 2-3 minutes per side).
4. Place sliced onions and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
5. Transfer the browned drumsticks to the slow cooker.
6. Pour chicken broth around the drumsticks.
7. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours.
8. Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

- 3 lemons (2 juiced, 1 sliced)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
Instructions
1. In a bowl, mix lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, and all herbs and seasonings.
2. Place chicken pieces in the slow cooker.
3. Pour the marinade mixture over the chicken.
4. Add chicken broth and lemon slices.

Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup
Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 large carrots, sliced
- 3 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker.
2. Add carrots, celery, onion, garlic, chicken broth, bay leaves and thyme.
3. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
5. Remove chicken and shred with two forks.
6. Return chicken to slow cooker.
7. Add egg noodles and cook for an additional 20-30 minutes until tender.
8. Remove bay leaves before serving.
9. Garnish with fresh parsley.
@goldengracekitchen Thanksgiving Roasted Chicken 1 @smfchicken whole chicken 3 potatoes (cubed) 1 onion sliced Carrots 6-8 garlic cloves 2 tbsp garlic olive oil 3/4 cup chicken broth 1 1/2 tsp sea salt 1 tsp rosemary 1/2 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp pepper Fresh thyme Stuff the cavity of the chicken with fresh thyme, some of the onion slices and some garlic cloves. Tie drumsticks together with kitchen twine. Create a “ring” out of foil by rolling 2 large pieces, and connecting them to form the “ring”. Place ring into the bottom of crock pot. The ring should line the edges of the crock pot. Add your remaining onion, carrots, potatoes, and garlic inside the ring along with some fresh thyme. Pour in the chicken broth. Place the chicken on top of the veggies breast side up. Coat the top of the chicken with olive oil. Add all dry seasonings to a small bowl then sprinkle over entire chicken. Add a few pieces of thyme to the top of the chicken. Cover with lid and cook on high for 3.5-4 hours or on low for 5-6.5 hours. Temperature of the breast should be 165°. Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, patted dry
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 lemon, quartered
- 1 onion, roughly chopped
- 3 carrots, cut into large chunks
- 3 celery stalks, cut into large chunks
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, mix olive oil with paprika, garlic powder, thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper.
2. Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken, including under the skin.
3. Place chopped vegetables in the bottom of the slow cooker.
4. Place the seasoned chicken on top of the vegetables, breast side up.
5. Stuff the cavity with lemon quarters.
6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
7. Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
8. Optional: Place under broiler for 3-5 minutes to crisp skin.
