Simply the Best: CB2 Curates Their Most Iconic Pieces in the "Best Of Collection"
CB2 knows what its customers want and have made that clear in its “Best Of Collection,” made up of their best-selling, most loved products. The brand collaborated with esteemed luxury home stager Jason Saft of Staged to Sell Home to decorate a historic apartment in one of New York City’s most iconic buildings: The Plaza New York.
An Iconic Makeover at The Plaza
Saft outfitted a four-bedroom apartment at the residences at The Plaza New York with CB2 products that have made a huge splash with customers. In a recent Instagram post about the collaboration, Saft shares, “One of the many reasons I’ve been buying and featuring CB2 in my work is their [commitment] to fostering bold design and making it accessible and affordable.”
“They [CB2] work with best-in-class designers to create iconic pieces that stand on their own, pair well with an eclectic mix, and stand the test of time,” Saft continued.
The historic apartment’s makeover was extremely successful, and it is now a stunning space filled with CB2’s most iconic furniture and decor pieces. In one of the rooms of the apartment, Saft gave the lighting an upgrade by switching out a faux crystal chandelier for the Corvina Polished Brass Chandelier from the Best Of Collection. “I chose this specific piece because it reminded me of a fist full of balloons. I associate that with a joyous occasion, like a party. Like a really glamorous party that you get dressed up for because it’s at @theplazahotel,” he says in an Instagram post.
The apartment is on sale with a current asking price of $15,900,000.

Black Ceramic Pedestal Bowl
This stunningly unique stoneware bowl can be used as a table centerpiece, on an entryway table, or on a bookshelf as part of the decor. It is finished with two reactive glazes — shiny and matte — which gives it an authentic aged look and feel. This CB2 exclusive can be used to hold knickknacks or flowers or be used as an ultra-chic fruit bowl. Each piece will be unique as they are not mass-produced. One customer said, “This pedestal bowl can serve so many purposes! I decided to turn it into an oil lamp for my backyard by placing a small oil can in the center and surrounding it with stones. It looks great! This bowl is very heavy and durable as well. I’m so happy with my purchase!”
Corvina Polished Brass Chandelier
If you’re looking for a chandelier with personality and modern flair, this CB2 exclusive is a great choice. The cluster of frosted glass spheres was designed by Balutto Associati, an atelier, creative workshop, and production studio. A centered globe anchors each of the 16 globes. Each globe is suspended from unlacquered polished brass downrods. Over time, you can expect the rods to develop into a patina. Polish the chandelier to restore it to its original finish. This chandelier is definitely a conversational piece and would look great in contemporary, eclectic, and modern homes. It is recommended to get professional help when installing this chandelier in your home.
Inesse Boucle Green Dining Chair
This stunning chair is a CB2 exclusive, designed by Omar De Biaggio. It comes in three colors — black, cream, and green — to suit your home’s aesthetic. This modern, Italian-made dining chair has a steel tube frame with a matte black powder coat. A beautiful textural boucle wraps the chair's curved back and round seat. It is recommended not to place this chair in direct sunlight as that can cause fading. Blot spills immediately using a clean, absorbent cloth. Spot-clean the chair with a damp cloth and mild detergent. If there are stubborn stains, it is suggested to work with a professional upholstery cleaning service.
