Easy Cleaning: Dyson Just Announced Its First-Ever Wet Cordless Vacuum

June 12, 2023 at 6:19 PM PST

Cleaning your home just got easier. The iconic appliance brand Dyson is launching a wet cordless vacuum this year. Named the Submarine, the vacuum will make it a breeze to keep your floors clean. According to the brand, its first wet vacuum cleaner “provides a whole-home cleaning solution, to wash, detect and detangle, all-in-one Dyson.”

The vacuum is a wet roller head and has an eight-point hydration system. This system releases 17 milliliters every minute using a motor-driven microfiber roller. The roller ensures that your floors are kept clean without using excess water.

There are two separate chambers, with one being for waste and the other supplying the vacuum’s head with clean water. The vacuum is great to use for wet and dry cleaning.

The only downside to this cutting-edge vacuum is that it is not compatible with current Dyson vacuums. It has brand-new software, so if you’re interested in trying this vacuum, you’ll have to get a whole one altogether. You can purchase the Dyson V15s Detect Submarine later this year.

The exact pricing for the Submarine isn’t available as yet, but the V15 currently retails for $750. The V15 comes with an Optic Fluffy Cleaner Head, which illuminates dust and hair using a green laser.

Other New Dyson Products

Dyson has also recently announced five other products, including the brand’s “most powerful intelligent robot vacuum cleaner,” the Dyson 360 Vis Nav robotic vacuum, and the Dyson Purifier Big + Quiet Formaldehyde, which the brand boasts as being super quiet and having upgraded filtration.

“Our engineers have, and continue, to employ these technologies to reduce the cognitive burden on our owners, saving time, energy, and effort in maintaining a healthy home — a true set-and-forget mindset,” said John Churchill, Dyson’s chief technology officer.
