Actress Lena Horne’s personal office has hit the market, and the asking price is $1.075 million. According to Architectural Digest, Horne has had several apartments on the market, and now her Upper East Side home office is available to the public to purchase.

It seems like everyone wants a piece of the legendary, multi-hyphenate activist and artist’s real estate. Late last year, Horne’s estate listed the singer’s primary apartment for sale. The Upper East Side 2,100-square-foot apartment drew lots of attention and interest. It sold swiftly for roughly $2.2 million.

Horne transitioned in 2010, and she left several of her apartments to her daughter Gail Lumet Buckley. It was reported that Horne owned five apartments at the address known as The Volley.

The one-bedroom apartment now listed served as a personal home office for Horne. With roughly 900 square feet of space, the one-bedroom apartment has an abundance of natural lighting throughout the apartment. With a spacious foyer, you can transform the deep hallway into a path of wonder by adding art and beautiful accent pieces throughout.

The pre-war building also notes that renovations have been minimum declaring that the apartment has been “almost untouched since completion.” For potential buyers, the limited renovations are attractive.
