When Naomi Osaka’s family moved from Japan to America when she was a baby, they couldn’t have imagined how her future would play out as a tennis champion. Osaka picked up the sport when she was just three years old. By the time she turned 16, she went pro and is currently a four-time Grand Slam champ. After beating Serena Williams in the 2018 US Open, Osaka was feeling the pressure. While being one of the highest female athletes in the world has its perks, she’s been open about her mental health struggles along the way.
To help her stay calm and focused on tennis, Osaka likes to keep her home feeling like a sanctuary. She’s a mother now, raising her daughter with rapper Cordae and running her Kinlo skincare brand. While she’s made it back on the court to entertain us with her fierce strikes, Naomi Osaka’s heart still remains at home with her family.
Where Does Naomi Osaka Live?
Her Beverly Hills Mansion Belonged to Nick Jonas First
The year after her major win at the US Open, Osaka celebrated by purchasing a $7 million mansion in Beverly Hills Post Office. As per Architectural Digest, it belonged to “Jealous” hitmaker Nick Jonas first, spanning 4,100 square feet on a half-acre lot. As he moved out, Naomi Osaka happily settled into the three-bedroom and four-bathroom property.
When she’s not practicing her serve, the Japan-born beauty can make delicious breakfasts in her Miele chef’s kitchen, or relax her muscles in the free-standing Agape Spoon tub that occupies the master bathroom. Perhaps the best part of all is the floating guesthouse and terrace surrounded by an infinity pool, allowing Osaka to entertain guests without giving up her privacy.
In Tarzana, Osaka and Her Family Have Amazing Views
Now that she has a baby to raise, it’s only natural for Naomi Osaka to want more space. In 2022, she expanded her real estate portfolio, buying a property that previously belonged to reality stars Nick and Vanessa Lachey. The tennis champion paid $6,3M for her second property, which was built seven years ago over 6,855 square feet.
Osaka’s home is spacious, boasting a full bathroom attached to each of the five bedrooms, plus two more for visitor use. There’s a marble kitchen, indoor bar, screening room and over 600 square feet of balcony space upstairs. Meanwhile, outside is perfect for entertaining with a pool deck, fire pit and outstanding views of the San Fernando Valley.
