Even if you don’t care a thing about golf, the name Eldrick Tont “Tiger” Woods, or just plain Tiger Woods, probably conjures up many things. He’s a champion who dominated his sport beginning in the mid-90s. He was a child prodigy and is a living legend today. Likewise, he is also the person who made golfers start wearing better clothes. We also know that Tiger Woods is quite wealthy. He has enjoyed years of record-breaking successes on the links, numerous product endorsements, and major multimillion-dollar brand partnerships (most notably with Nike).

Lately he’s made significant media and real estate investments, and has even gotten in on the restaurant game. That said, the now 48-year-old dad of two has a 2024 estimated net worth of around $1.3 billion. But way back in 2006, he put down roots on Jupiter Island, Florida, one of the most exclusive enclaves in the state. And there he remains today.

Over the next few years after the purchase, Woods would demolish the original 9,000-square-foot home on the property, worth about $40 million at the time. The goal was to make way for a new, state-of-the-art home that is still one of the island’s most impressive. The personal manse cost the superstar golfer $54 million to complete back in 2010, and it is estimated to be worth about $67 to $80 million today. But even beyond the living space, Woods’ renovations would drastically reshape the estate in its entirety.

Not Just a House

Woods’ massive residence is about 9,700-square-feet and sits on approximately nine to 12 acres of the 17-mile-long barrier island, enviable for its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean beachfront. The home is one of several buildings and facilities on the estate, in addition to a garage, a guest house, offices, and Woods’ very own golf facility (more on that later). The home was designed by renowned architect Hugh Newell Jacobsen, according to Treasure Coast MLS Search. The dwelling is one befitting Woods’ accomplishments. It boasts an opulent living room, wine cellar, media room, and a dining room with a fireplace.

One would also find an oxygen therapy room, a fitness center, and a gaming room. The buildings’ lines are clean and modern, with a white stucco exterior, tiled roofs, and high ceilings, and plenty of windows for taking in the beautiful surroundings.

Boats and Holes

A full-sized tennis court and swimming pools, including a lap pool, bejewel the expansive backyard. But most stunning perhaps, if unsurprising, is what is effectively Woods’ elaborate shrine to golf. Designed by Woods himself, the property showcases a four-hole, 3.5-acre golf course. It has four greens, six bunkers with various depths and even different types of sand, and a wedge range. There is also a golf studio that houses a video center and putting area, plus space that allows Woods and his golf homies to hit shots from the second story. The facility was made to enable real-world practice, replicating pretty much every kind of condition a golfer might encounter.

Finally, there are the boats. Like most super rich dudes, Tiger Woods loves the occasional yacht, which apparently may be spotted along Woods’ property on the Intracoastal Waterway side. And this is relevant as Woods will sometimes live on his big boat, when he feels like it. There was the time when he docked it at Oyster Bay on Long Island, during the 2019 PGA Championship. Per Golf.com, the $20 million floating home dubbed “Privacy” has five guest rooms, plus crew quarters and additional cabins and a VIP stateroom. With its three levels, the 155-foot-long vessel contains 6,500 square feet of living space.
