Fans of Rick Ross know about this stunning mansion in Georgia, but how far does the rapper’s real estate stretch? The Mississippi-born, Florida-raised rapper and record executive describes himself as a yacht enthusiast and car collector. Now added to that list, a luxe real estate owner. Debuting his career in 2006, Ross signed with Jay-Z on Def Jam Recordings, eventually becoming successful enough to launch his own record label Maybach Music Group in 2009. Since then he’s successfully signed artists like Meek Mill and French Montana.
With properties in Miami, Georgia and Houston, the rapper is collecting homes like infinity stones. Here’s an inside look at some of the luxurious properties of William Leonard Roberts ll, known by his stage name, Rick Ross.
Ross’ Massive Georgia Mansion
Located 30 minutes outside Atlanta, Rick Ross’ spectacular Georgia mansion lies in Fayetteville. Not only is his Georgia house the largest house in Georgia, but it’s one of the largest homes in the United States. Sitting at over 45,000 square feet, Ross purchased the property for over $5.8 million. Before Ross purchased the home in 2014, it belonged to boxing champion, Evander Holyfield. Dubbing his mansion “The Promised Land,” the 109-room home features 12 bathrooms, 21 bedrooms and a 350,000-gallon pool. The massive residence also featured a dining hall for hosting and accommodating 100 guests, custom furnishings, marble floors, delicate woodwork, coffered ceilings, gorgeous chandeliers and a grand piano to top things off.
In an Instagram post, Ross revealed the stairwell in his home, showing off the gold detailings and spiral staircase, carpet lining the stairs and an eagle statue at the top of the staircase. The staircase is one of many posts where Ross shows off the beauty of his massive house. Other amenities and decor in the home include multi-colored flooring, a game room, a gym, a movie theater, a massive kitchen with a large island a separate breakfast nook and a wine cellar. The Georgia home wouldn’t be complete without more amenities of course. Water slides, a waterfall, a swim-up bar and additional pools come in plenty at Rick Ross’ house. Of course, Ross was able to add all of these incredible things because he expanded his property five years after purchasing it. The artists bought over 87 acres of land by the home for $1 million to expand the property and turn it into the ultimate bachelor pad and home. It’s also very fitting that his home has been used as a filming location for movies like Coming 2 America. He also hosts car shows and public pool parties yearly at his home.
Ross’ Other Properties
While Rick Ross’ most well-known and popular property is his Georgia house, he also has other properties in multiple states. In 2021, the rapper bought a resort-style estate near Miami Beach, Florida. He paid $3.5 million for the property, formerly owned by NBA All-Star and professional basketball coach, Amar’e Stoudemire. The 8,600-square-foot property features amenities like a pool, waterfall, and indoor theater with 135 seats, a gym, a massage room and multiple home offices. There are six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, offering plenty of space. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Miami home without the beach. His property also has an oceanfront view and a boat dock for the yacht enthusiast.
In 2023, it was revealed that Ross had his eyes set on another property. This time, it would be a $3.5 house in Houston, Texas. In another Instagram post, Ross shows off his Texas home as a trophy and accolade, inviting the great state of Texas to celebrate the purchase of his new home with a shot of whiskey. The eight-bedroom, nine-bathroom property features a tennis court, media room, two-car garage, a pool and a sauna.
Not only did Rick Ross purchase his Houston house in 2023, but he also added yet another Miami property to his collection. An oceanfront mansion purchased at $37 million, the property lies in Star Island, an exclusive area where many celebrities reside. It sits at 12,374 square feet with multiple amenities, a boat dock, six bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms. This is Ross’ most expensive property.
