After holding it down for a year, there are spaces and spots in your home that are probably screaming for a good scrub in all the right places. Just like spring, your home calls for restoration and revitalization. But if spring cleaning sounds time-consuming, leaving you overwhelmed and unmotivated to get started, that’s why a spring cleaning checklist is exactly what you need to make this the smoothest and easiest process. Go room by room and dig in those places that you’d typically avoid, and use this spring cleaning checklist for the ultimate home transformation.

Kitchen

After numerous parties, holiday events and other fun occasions at home, you’re kitchen is asking for this deep clean. Deep cleaning your kitchen and hitting spots that you normally wouldn’t is important for keeping this central space squeaky clean, so that you can make new memories in a fresh space. Here’s how to get started:

  • Clean out the pantry.
  • Deep clean your oven.
  • Don’t forget your small appliances.
  • Clean your cabinets inside and out.
  • Mop the floors.
  • Scrub your refrigerator and freezer spotless.
  • Remove foods, and wipe down each shelf.
  • Take out the trash and wipe down your trash can.
  • Remove the food splats from the microwave.
  • Clean your countertops and make room for those fresh florals.
  • Degrease your kitchen drain.

Bathroom

  • Scrub the tub and the shower. This includes cleaning the grout, too.
  • Wipe your mirrors for a streak-free reflection.

  • Wash your pillows or slipcovers.
