Collecting Black art isn’t just a passive pursuit — it’s a powerful act of cultural preservation and artist empowerment. The Home & Texture team recently discovered an inspiring TikTok featuring Dr. Rosemarie Ingleton, a New York dermatologist whose discerning eye for exceptional artwork has culminated into the most stunning and thought-provoking collection.

Each work in her collection tells a distinct and meaningful story. This goes beyond mere aesthetic appreciation — it represents an active investment in preserving our cultural heritage and ensuring these vital artistic voices continue to resonate with new generations.
