One thing you can depend on when watching Home & Texture’s House Tours is a strong dose of inspiration. If you haven’t tuned into episode two of House Tours season two, you’re in for a visual treat. Creative director Marissa Calhoun’s Inglewood abode is a whimsical delight. We instantly fell in love with her 1920s Spanish-style home and her use of bubblegum pink throughout the interior and exterior of the house. We especially loved how she intentionally used the pink hue as the accent color in her kitchen.

Described as her favorite space in her home, Calhoun’s kitchen is the perfect space for cooking, baking, and hosting. The open shelving in her kitchen turns her appliances and dishes into decor. “It’s nice to have things out in the open that are both functional and design elements,” Calhoun shares in the episode. We couldn’t help but lay our eyes on the top shelf where a magnificent KitchenAid mixer was elegantly placed.
