TikTok is a hub for viral videos and all things considered cool content. Under this hub lies a wide array of styling videos, makeup tutorials, music content, holiday and decor ideas, funny videos, movie analyses, recipe and cooking videos. But, what makes TikTok recipes different from recipes you might find on Pinterest, Youtube or a blog?

TikTok’s video format makes for easy scrolling, and you’ll probably find yourself so distracted that you’ll scroll for hours. On top of the different types of content that may land on your “For You Page” or are from your followers, you can also search practically any recipe on the app and find multiple videos on it.

TikTok’s search bar makes it easy and sorts videos based on virality, views, likes, hashtags, creators and more. It also allows you to save videos and create multiple folders, so you can save all of your favorite pasta recipes, meat recipes or sweet treats in different folders for reference.

TikTok is a Wealth of Recipes and Food Knowledge

With creators, chefs and food bloggers continuing to flock to TikTok and going viral on the app, we’ve seen an increase in unique recipes all over the platform. From famous chefs like Gordon Ramsey taking over the app to stitch and review recipes to viral creators like @mxriyum, @flychefaldenb, @eatwitzo, and @emmanuelduverneau and @newt, TikTok is becoming the new Food Network. Viewers on the app not only have the luxury of looking at and saving videos while scrolling, but TikTok is great for those who want to quickly learn a recipe without taking the time to watch a YouTube video or cooking show since most videos on the app are only one to three minutes.

So, what are some recipes that you might see viral on the app? Because TikTok has deemed fall as soup season, you’ll find a lot of soup recipes as of right now. But, you’ll also find a lot of dessert recipes, meat and fish recipes, air fryer-friendly recipes and variations of different pasta recipes. With pasta recipes like vodka pasta, lasagna, alfredo, sundried tomato pasta and more going viral, pasta is taking over the app because of its affordability and how easy it is to make. A TikTok viral pasta that has continued to go viral for months now is a baked spaghetti recipe known as the “million-dollar spaghetti.”

How To Make TikTok Spaghetti

This recipe continues to be a go-to for those wanting an easy and delicious meal because of its creamy base and seasonings. So, how do you make this viral spaghetti and what dishes do you need for this? Here’s what you need to recreate the viral spaghetti from TikTok.

Baked spaghetti

Ingredients

  • Spaghetti Noodles
  • Ground Beef or Turkey
  • Chopped Onions
  • Diced Bell Peppers
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Oregano
  • Basil
  • Marinara Sauce
  • Diced tomatoes (optional for the meat mixture)
  • Butter
  • Minced Garlic
  • Heavy Cream
  • Cream Cheese (optional for alfredo sauce)
  • Finely Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Shredded Mozzarella
  • Parsley

What You’ll Need

For a recipe like this, it’s best to use a cast iron Dutch oven or nonstick pot to ensure that the meat and ingredients don’t stick to the pan. You’ll also need utensils like a pot for boiling the noodles, a spatula, a cutting board to dice your onions and peppers, a pot or pan to make your alfredo sauce and a nice casserole dish. Regular kitchen items like oven mitts, knives, a large spoon, a spoon rest and plates will be needed.

If you have additional kitchen space and are feeling fancy, transfer your seasonings to glass jars and label them using a labeler, Cricut or printer. These can easily be displayed on a spice rack or in a drawer spice organizer, making them easy to find when you need them for this and other recipes.

Putting It All Together

TikTok videos of this recipe can be found by simply searching “million dollar spaghetti” or “viral TikTok spaghetti” and you can find hundreds of videos with over 1 million likes. For this recipe, you’ll want to start by browning your beef and adding in your diced onions and peppers. Season this mixture with the seasonings listed above and add your basil. Boil your noodles in a pot and in a separate pan, brown your butter with minced garlic and then add the heavy cream and parmesan to make an alfredo sauce.

Season this sauce to taste with the same seasonings (or add Italian seasoning, seasoning salt or any additional seasonings you like, but don’t go overboard). Make sure your noodles are cooked al dente. Add the cooked noodles to a casserole dish, pour the alfredo sauce on top, add your meat mixture and top with mozzarella, parmesan and parsley. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes and enjoy.
