Being a famous athlete comes with a lot of work and consequential moving around. When you’re the most decorated gymnast in the world with 25 medals and four gold Olympic medals, of course you’ve been everywhere. From traveling to Rio de Janeiro during the 2016 Olympics to traveling for awards, magazine covers and competitions, Simone Biles has been everywhere.

At only 27 years old, Simone Biles has not only been coined one of the greatest athletes ever, but the gymnast has lived in multiple places. After getting married to NFL player, Jonathan Owens, in 2023, Biles and her husband decided to settle down and purchase a home in her home state of Texas.

While the athlete was born in Columbus, Ohio, she grew up in Texas. With traveling all over the world and getting married, where does Simone Biles live now? Let’s take a look into her home.

Where Does Simone Biles Live?

Last year, Simone Biles offered up an exclusive look at her Houston mansion, which is almost complete. In a series of Instagram stories, Biles posted the unfinished exterior and photos of the door frame, stairs and high ceilings. In additional stories, she shared photos of the unfinished bedroom, bathroom, game room and theater.

As of February 2024, the couple’s house is almost complete. An Instagram story photo captured by Biles with the caption “house updates” showcasing the exterior of the home with walls, windows and building materials. In another update, the Olympic gold medalist showed up some kitchen updates and her walk-in closet.

What We Know About The House

As of right now, there aren’t many updates since Biles last Instagram story. But, we do know that the house is almost complete and move-in ready for the couple. We do know that the house will feature lots of natural light and high ceilings according to Biles. Because it’s a mansion, we know that there will be lots of space for the multiple rooms that Biles has shared on Instagram. With a modern style, sliding doors are featured throughout the home and the home seems to be near a body of water.

Biles and Owens spent a whopping $2 million on the property and construction of the home. While we are waiting for the couple to move into their gorgeous home, Owens is still residing in Wisconsin, as he plays for the Green Bay Packers.

Where The Star Athlete Lived Before

Before purchasing the Houston property with her husband, Biles lived in other homes. In 2017, she sold her childhood home for $250,000 located in Spring, Texas. The former home featured four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a library, gym room, living room and dining room, along with a beautiful outdoor garden.

After moving out of her childhood home, Biles moved into a new $750,000 home in Houston. The 4000-square-foot new construction home featured amenities like a pool, a theater, a dog wash station, fireplace and wood and tile floors.

The kitchen in the home was complete with fancy upgrades including quartz countertops, custom cabinets and high-end appliances. Featuring an outdoor kitchen, three-car garage, four bedrooms and spa-like bathrooms, the property is housed in a gated community. Biles decorated the modern-style home with gray furniture, silver decor and colorful accents like blankets and wall art.
