The estate comes with eight bathrooms, five bedrooms and an in-home movie theater. There are also plenty of sports memorabilia displayed throughout. The movie theater can sit eight people comfortably, and the ceiling is designed with lights to look similar to the skies at night. Overall, the estate takes up about an acre of land, which includes a swimming pool and garage.

Additionally, the home also comes with three fire pits, a gazebo and a number of inviting water paths throughout the property. The lounge area serves as a trophy room for all of the former slugger’s athletic achievements over his career. The entrance welcomes company with grand water fountains, lush grass and a garage. With beautiful palm trees surrounding the yard and floor-to-ceiling windows, the home is a combination of tropical luxury with modern design.

Despite the look of what seems like a lot of open space, the estate has plenty of privacy with its full and bountiful landscaping placements.

The home was custom-built by Ortiz and cost $1.5 million when completed. The mansion occupies approximately 10,200 square feet. The estate was put up for sale in February for $12.5 million by Michael Martinez of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty. The sale was managed by the buyer’s agent Dennis Carvajal who works with the same realtor.
