Earning its high value due to the destruction of its vines in 1946 from a pest named Phylloxera, this particular vintage wine comes alongside 599 bottles that were produced and priced at $123,900 to $558,000 each.

As one of the most expensive wines ever to be sold, The Romanée-Conti surely is opulent in flavor. Their 1937 Grand Cru red is selling for retail price at $73,228, with their 1994 white, Montrachet Grand Cru, selling for $10,911 per price tag.

In 2018, the 1995 Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Grand Cru sold for a whopping $558,000 and is a particularly rare wine. Overall, only two were available at auction with 600 bottles ever to be produced.
