Dry January usually brings forth a slew of non-alcoholic beers and wines to enjoy while taking a break from imbibing. Brands have become particularly good at creating a beverage that offers a similar flavor profile. But if we’re being totally honest, mocktails have always been a stellar choice for alcohol-free drinks.

Brightly colored and loaded with flavor, mocktails can be a delicious alternative to your favorite cocktail. Sure, they won’t replace your beloved dirty martinis, but there are a number of classic cocktails that can be prepared— not to mention just as satisfying— without alcohol.

If you’re ready to make the leap from Shirley Temples to something a little more grown-up, we’ve got you covered. Ahead, find the best mocktail recipes to keep on hand for Dry January and beyond.
