“When I was first decorating my house, I already knew that I wanted to make it a bit of a statement, and I had the phrase that I wanted to make it a work of art,” shares the content creator and travel host in the episode. When decorating her home, Daniella was very intentional about making sure her space had a lot of colors, was bold, bright, and had little moments of conversational pieces.

“I wanted my home to feel like a garden in bloom,” says Daniella. “If I had to describe it: eclectic, feminine, chic.”

Taking inspiration from Daniella’s vivid and creative approach, curating a home that is a work of art is within reach. It’s all about intentionality, a splash of audacity, and an eye for pieces that spark joy and conversations.

Make Room for Color

Don’t shy away from incorporating bold hues into your living space. Whether it’s a statement wall, vibrant upholstery, or a strategically placed art piece, color can serve as a powerful focal point. The key is to pick shades that resonate with your personality and the energy you want to infuse into the room.

Mix and Match Styles

Today’s eclectic interiors celebrate a mixture of eras, textures, and materials. It’s okay to pair a mid-century modern sofa with a vintage rug. The unexpected combinations often bring the most visual interest.

Prioritize Conversational Pieces

Every piece of art tells a story, and so should your home. Look for unique furnishings and art pieces that serve as conversational starters. These pieces not only capture attention but offer a glimpse into your interests.

Balance Is Key

It may be tempting to fill every corner and crevice of your space with eye-catching pieces, but remember not to go overboard. Too much visual noise can be overwhelming. A balanced space allows each piece to shine and create room for the eye to rest.

Fill your home with elements that are uniquely ‘you.’ Whether it’s family heirlooms, travel mementos, or handmade crafts, these personal touches make your artfully curated home truly one-of-a-kind.
